Frequently Asked Questions (will prolly be constantly updated)
Q: What are you rates?

A: Since every photo job is varied.. so are my rates... between traveling, locations, props, film/digital, amount of shots required, etc everything is such a variable SO..the best thing to do is contact me with exactly what you need laid out as best you can and i will do my best to quote you out a figure

Q: Do you ever trade for shoots?

A: Yes i am a fan of the barter system.. you better have sonething cool offer lol..

Q: Whats up with those crazy rough jagged edges on your photographs?

A: Its nothing new.. its a filed out negative carrier when using the enlarger in my darkroom.. pretty much when you see those edges you can be certain that not only was this image shot with film but it was hand printed by me and NOT cropped.. in fact if you look close you can probably even see the film sprocket holes (tracking)

Q: Do you shoot film or digital?

A: Id say i shoot about 75% film and 25% digital.. im a huge fan of film grain.. darkroom processes..old school semi forgotten process.. digital to me is just a work horse.. its semi souless so it works for commercial work haha.. but for my own personal work i will never ever use digital to create a print..im not hating on it.. its just how i am and what i feel is my medium..my film work spans from 35mm to 4"x5" large format

Q: Who are your influences?

A: i kinda feel like the list is ever changing theres so many i respect and at the same time i get pretty competitive with any i meet... however heres a few names Glen Friedman, RIcky Adam, Rob Dolecki, Cindy Sherman, David Bradford, Richard Avedon, Robert Frank,

Q: Is it true you use animal blood in you bloody images?

A: are... are you really serious?... no.. NO!.. in fact i make my own fake blood out of safe non toxic house hold materials.

Q: How can i go about becoming an assistant on one of your shoots?

A: Honestly i rarely work with assistants... but if I ever need one I usually look to people i can trust that have some sort of photographic knowledge soo in short im really never looking for anyone but i do appreciate the inquiry

Q: How do you find your models?

A: I have tons of sketch books filled with concepts and when i see someone that i think fits the image i approach them OR people contact me all the time asking about being a part of a project so I am always open to meeting anyone interested in getting involved

Q: Is it true you once threw a lens a cop when they tried to shut down a shoot?

A: NO! in fact i dont even know where this rumor came from and as much as itd be a pretty cool story to have to my reputation i never ever did that..and would never claim it.

Q: Whats up with the scratchedl glasses logo?

A: those were my actual glasses for about 6 years and is what i wore during some pinnacle shots in my portfolio .. everyone locally knew me for them and it was just inevitable that i stamp it on everything

SITE WILL BE DONE SOON!
i finally got everything in order to get this rolling..so sit tight while i upload my work and start lookin legit!
